A faster, face-lifted Nissan 350Z will go on sale early next year.

Already on sale in the US and Japan, the updated coupe and roadster feature new lights and the same 296bhp power output as the recent 35th Anniversary limited-edition.

The increase from 276bhp will mean a slight step up in price from today’s starting point of £25,500, but the 350Z’s 0-62mph time will fall to 5.8sec. Top speed is a limited 155mph.

Indicators are moved around the headlights at the front, while the rear clusters now use bright LEDs. Nissan says it has also worked to improve cabin quality.

The car pictured here has been tweaked by Nissan’s Nismo tuning arm and develops 320bhp. There are no immediate plans to bring this to the UK, however.
