New addition to Proton’s GEN-2 range

Proton is adding a GEN-2 saloon to its range at the end of March.
The GEN-2 Persona is a four-door saloon version of the five-door hatchback. It will be powered by a 110bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine and reaches a top speed of 118mph.
A five-speed manual gearbox is standard on all models, with a four-speed auto available as an option.
Inside, the car comes with climate control, an MP3-compatible CD player and electric windows all round. Safety features include anti-lock brakes and driver and passenger airbags, while reverse parking sensors help prevent car park dings.
Prices start from £10,795, but Proton is offering a £1000 discount off the list price for early buyers.
