The Audi Q7 now has a new entry-level diesel engine and top-of-the-range trim.
The 201bhp 3.0-litre V6 TDI 204 is a variation of the 237bhp 3.0 diesel already available in the Q7 4x4. The new version does an average of 39.2mpg and emits 189g/km of CO2. As in all Q7s, it is linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
S line Plus models will get a myriad of equipment over other trims, including metallic paint, privacy glass, 21-inch alloys, an MP3 connection and a hard-disc-drive-based sat-nav system. S line Plus costs £4500 more than S line models and is available with all engines except the 6.0 V12 diesel, which has its own bespoke trim.
The 3.0 V6 TDI 204 engine and S line Plus trims are available now, with prices starting from £39,995 for the entry-level Q7 3.0 V6 TDI 204.
