Audi has announced details of its face-lifted top-of-the-range S4 Cabriolet, which goes on sale next year priced at £42,980.
Equipped with the quattro all-wheel-drive system, the drop-top should have enough traction to get the best out of the 4.2 V8 petrol engine, which develops 339bhp. The S4 Cabriolet accelerates to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds and continues to a limited top speed of 155mph.
The car comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but a six-speed Tiptronic automatic option is available for £1400.
S4 buyers get satellite-navigation, electrically adjusted Alcantara and leather sport seats, carbon fibre and aluminium interior trim, xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.
Dealers are taking orders for the S4 Cabriolet now, with the first cars due to arrive with the rest of the new A4 Cabriolet range next spring.
