New What Car? magazine on sale this week

The April issue of What Car? is out not, so get yours for all the latest drives, group tests reveals, advice, helpful information to help you navigate your next new car purchase.

Our three cover stars this week are the Kia Sportage, Nissan Qashqai and Toyota RAV4, as we hold a group test to find the best SUV for £25,000. The crossover segment is increasingly crowded, so grab a What Car? to find out the winner.

This month’s reader test team has our readers scrutinizing the upcoming Renault Megane – does it have the substance to match the overhauled exterior style? We’ve also put premium hatchbacks to the test, as the Infiniti Q30, Audi A3 Sportback and BMW 1 Series go head-to-head.

If you’ve been a victim of pothole damage, you’re not alone, and you’ll want to read our investigation into why there’s so many, and what you can do if you’ve fallen victim to the UK’s scarred roads.

More SUVs featuring in this month’s What Car? include the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Seat AtecaSeat’s first ever SUV - the Kia NiroKia’s first ever hybrid model – and the Volvo XC90 T8 – Volvo’s hybrid version of its large SUV, as well as the Volvo V90. We’ve also got the latest on the Renault Scénic, which Renault hopes will rescue the MPV segment from the invasion of crossovers, and the BMW M2, with which BMW aims for a new group of customers for the M performance sub-brand.

Latest details on the all-new Honda Civic are inside, along with a first look at the Porsche 718 Boxster, first drives of the facelifted Mercedes-Benz SL400, new Mini Convertible, Hyundai i20 and i20 Active, all-new and overhauled Toyota Prius and new DS 3.

As usual, our helpdesk, Buyer’s guide and A to Z continue the What Car? ethos of making sure you make the best decision on your next car, alongside our True MPG testers, who ensure that you’re not left bamboozled by inflated fuel economy figures, by bringing you only the most accurate real-world fuel economy stats of your next car.
