New What Car? magazine on sale this week

The latest issue of the new-look What Car? magazine is now on sale. Find out what's inside

The September issue of What Car? magazine is on sale now. It's the latest issue of our new-look magazine, which offers a larger data section and a tweaked format for our first drives and reviews.

The Jaguar XE takes up the prime position on the front cover. The new saloon is affordable to run, looks great and is brilliant to drive.

Other new cars driven for the first time this month include the facelifted BMW 3 Series, the new Audi A4, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Mini Clubman, Hyundai Tucson, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Honda HR-V, Seat Alhambra, Volkswagen Touran, Mazda MX-5 and facelifted Toyota Auris. Our readers also rate the facelifted BMW 3 Series.

In addition to these first drives we've got a number of group tests. This month our road test team has pitted the Jaguar XE against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The other three-car test is from the small SUV category, with the new Mazda CX-3 going up against the Skoda Yeti and new Suzuki Vitara.

We've also tested the new Audi Q7 against the Volvo XC90. In addition, we've driven the BMW M135i and Honda Civic Type R back to back to see if the new Honda can topple the BMW.

What Car? continues to champion the cause of consumers through its Helpdesk pages, while Target Price shows you the most you should pay for your new car. We also give you the best guide to real-world fuel economy testing through our independent True MPG test figures.

What Car? magazine is now on sale, or you can save money with print or digital subscription offers at The Magazine Shop.
