The April issue of What Car? magazine is on sale now. It's the second issue of our new-look magazine, which offers a larger data section and a tweaked format of our first drives and reviews.
The Volvo XC90 takes up the prime position on the front cover. The new seven-seat SUV is refined, comfortable and should be on the shopping list of anyone looking for a large SUV.
Other new cars driven for the first time this month include the Mazda 6 Tourer, Mazda MX-5, Audi TT Roadster, Jaguar XE 3.0 S - the most powerful version of Jaguar's new compact exec - and Smart Forfour. Our readers also rate the new Kia Sorento.
In addition to these first drives, we've also got a number of group tests. This month our road test team has pitted the new diesel BMW X6 against the Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport. The other triple test is from the small car category, our Car of the Year 2015, the Skoda Fabia goes up against the Hyundai i20 and the Renault Clio.
We've also tested the new Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TSI 280 R DSG against the Audi TT to see if it can hold its own against its more upmarket rival. In addition, we've driven the Ford Fiesta ST-3 and Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary back-to-back to see if the new Peugeot can topple our favourite hot hatch.
What Car? continues to champion the cause of consumers through its Helpdesk pages, while Target Price shows you the most you should pay for your new car. We also give you the best guide to real-world MPG testing through our independent True MPG test figures.
