Mondeo will be a global model. The UK version will look almost identical to the US
Ford Fusion that will be unveiled - in concept car form - at the Detroit motor show in January 2012.
Ford insiders have told us that the design will be strongly influenced by the
Evos concept car that made its debut at the
2011 Frankfurt motor show.
Fisker NinaWhat is it? Entry-level range-extender saloon

A smaller, cheaper model is central to Fisker’s ambitious expansion plans. The Nina is just that. It’ll use range-extender technology like the larger
Karma, but will be closer in size to – if slightly larger than – a
BMW 3 Series.
Infiniti G What is it? New BMW 3 Series rival with small diesel engines

As with the current model, Infiniti’s next G Series saloon will rival the
Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series, but will be bigger than both. Mercedes four-cylinder diesel engines will provide wider appeal.
Mazda 6 What is it? Bolder, lighter family car, with Skyactiv technology

Mazda’s new 6 is expected to resemble the Takeri concept car (above). Skyactiv technology means the new 6 will be lighter and more efficient than the current car.
