This is our first look at the Cruze, an all-new small family car from Chevrolet.
We'll get to see the car in the metal at the Paris motor show in October but you will have to wait until next spring to see the car in UK showrooms.
The five-seat saloon will initially be offered with 110bhp 1.6 or 138bhp 1.8-litre petrol engines or a 2.0-litre commonrail turbodiesel.
Prices haven't been released, but them to start at around £10,000.
Expect more models from Chevrolet over the coming months, too, including the Camaro, which wowed the crowds at the Detroit motor show last year.
Chevrolet says the radical styling seen here on the Cruze will continue on its new models.
'Our goal with the design of the Cruze was to be bold, not evolutionary,' said chief designer Taewan Kim. 'We wanted to take a big step forward, making a strong design statement for Chevrolet products around the world.'
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
