Nissan's Murano 4x4 will be available with a 2.5-litre diesel engine, but no prices and few performance details have been revealed so far.
Although Nissan promises the four-cylinder dCi, which is currently used in its Pathfinder 4x4, will be upgraded and enhanced for the Murano, it has given little information besides output figures of 188bhp and 332lb ft of torque.
That's more torque than the engine offers in the Pathfinder, and is an increase of 80lb ft over the petrol Murano, which costs £32,848.
First deliveries of the diesel version are expected this September.
