Citroen's C8 MPV now comes with two new diesel engines.
At the top of end of the range, a 2.0-litre 134bhp unit replaces the existing 2.2 128bhp engine. Citroen claims the latest engine achieves 40mpg on the combined cycle and emits 188g/km of carbon dioxide, which puts it into 27% company car tax bracket. That's more economical and cheaper to tax than the 2.2-litre, despite the increase in power. Prices start at £20,025 including Citroen's £3000 cashback offer.
There is also a new 2.0-litre 118bhp diesel engine, which does 41mpg and is one band lower than the more powerful engine for company car tax.
Prices for the less-powerful engine start at £18,000. Both engines come with a six-speed gearbox and can run on upto 30% bio-diesel.
The current 108bhp diesel engine remains in the C8 range but now comes just with an automatic gearbox. Prices start at £17,435, including cashback deals.
