BMW is introducing a range of trims, engines, gearboxes and features to the 5 Series saloon and Touring..
M Sport package
An M Sport package is now available for the 5 Series saloon and Touring, which includes modified suspension, an aerodynamics package, unique 18-inch alloys, sports seats, and M Sport styling and badges inside and out.
Prices start from £31,270 for a 520d, which means the pack adds just over £3000 to the price of a standard SE.
New engines
The trim is available from September when the 535d engine arrives for the saloon and estate, with prices starting at just over £40,000. The 295bhp, 3.0-litre engine is matched to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and can blast the saloon from 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds. Average fuel consumption is 44.8mpg while emissions are 165g/km of CO2.
Also new for the 5 Series Touring are the £35,325, 201bhp 525d SE and £35,390, 255bhp 528i SE.
