New entry-level Chrysler 300C

Chrysler has introduced a new entry-level trim for its 300C executive car, giving it a starting price of £23,995.

The 300C now comes in four trims: SE, SR, SRT and SRT-8. The first three use a 3.0-litre diesel engine, while the top-of-the-range SRT-8 has a 6.1-litre V8 petrol.

Despite being the entry-level model, SE versions are well equipped. Standard kit includes:
• Heated leather seats,
• Climate control,
• Front foglamps
• Front and rear parking sensors
• Xenon headlamps
• Automatic wipers
• CD player with MP3 capability

SR versions cost from £24,995 and get an upgraded stereo, sat-nav and Bluetooth connectivity.

SRT models start at £27,995 and bring a mesh grille with chrome surround, body-coloured door mirrors and handles, 20-inch alloys, along with leather and suede sports seats.

The high-performance SRT-8 costs from £41,795 and comes with Brembo brake calipers, tweaked steering and suspension, plus a powered sunroof.

The 300C Touring range remains unchanged.
