The next evolution of Honda's CR-V compact 4x4 will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show next month.
The all-new car will feature a new 2.0-litre petrol engine alongside the existing 2.2-litre diesel and come with new safety features such as adaptive cruise control and Honda's Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS).
CMBS first appeared on the new Legend executive car and offers the driver a series of warnings - and then applies the brakes - if it detects an imminent crash.
The new CR-V is expected in UK showrooms in January, although there are no indications of prices yet.
Also on show will be the production version of the Civic Type R hot hatch and a revised FR-V MPV featuring a new 1.8-litre petrol.
