Hyundai has revealed the face-lifted, 2007 model-year Coupe at the Guangzhou motor show in China.
The car has revised front and rear styling, with new lights and a slimmer front grille. It is due to go on sale in the UK towards the end of the year. Prices are likely to stay close to those of the existing model, which costs from £15,145 for the 1.6 to £19,190 for the V6.
Expect the Coupe to come with the same choice of 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre four-cylinder or 2.7-litre V6 engines as before.
Sister company Kia is trying to position itself as a sportier alternative to Hyundai, so coupes and convertibles are natural developments for the firm over the next two to three years.
At the Madrid Motor Show in May, top executives gave encouraging indications that we'll see sporty Kias in the future. The KVC III concept - a two-seater with a folding metal roof - gives some idea of what these cars might look like.
