Kia is providing a glimpse at the styling of its future 4x4s with this new KND-4 concept car.
On display at the Seoul Motor Show from this weekend, the KND-4 builds on other concept cars such as the Soul and Kue, and demonstrates Kia's commitment to this look for its off-roaders.
The KND-4 is mid-way between the company's Sportage and Sorento in length, so it gives clues on how both of these models could shape up.
The concept car features a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a four-wheel-drive system that automatically sends power to the wheels with the most grip.
The interior features four individual seats, but this arrangement is likely to be dropped in favour of a more conventional five-seat layout.
The next Kia off-roader carrying design elements from the KND-4 could be the new model arriving next year. Kia has confirmed that a third 4x4 for its range, to sit below the current Sportage, will go into production next year.
