The relaunched MG TF will cost £16,399.
Called the LE500 Limited Edition, it is powered by a 133bhp 1.8-litre petrol engine. It averages 35.8mpg and emits 185g/km of CO2.
It has rear parking sensors, air-con, an MP3 compatible CD, a body-coloured hardtop and leather sports seats.
The car, which has been restyled from the previous TF model that was first sold in 1995, is being built at Longbridge, Birmingham and will be delivered to customers from September.
Just 500 of the cars will be built, and they will be sold through a network of 57 dealers, most of which are former MG Rover dealers.
MG has also announced that it is planning new models to be launched at a later date.
