BMW has introduced a new Performance Edition trim for its 1 and 3 Series models to celebrate the company’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Both models get an M bodykit, 18-inch alloys, sports seats, chrome exhaust pipes, an M Sport multi-function leather-trimmed steering wheel and London 2012 badging on the body.
The 1 Series also gets M Sport suspension, giving it an extra sporty edge compared with most others in the range.
Prices start from £19,530 for the 1 Series Performance Edition, which is available with the 116i, 116d and 118d engines, and as a three- or five-door hatchback. The 3 Series saloon is available as either a 318i and 318d, and prices start at £23,195. Both models are available to order now.
