Porsche's new range-topping 911 Turbo S will be revealed at the Geneva motor show next month.
Most powerful 911
The Turbo S will also become the fastest and most powerful 911 in the range when it goes on sale in May.
Power from the 523bhp twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre engine is 30bhp up on the 911 Turbo, and blasts the S from 0-62mph in just 3.3 seconds. Its top speed is 196mph.
Despite the increased power and improved dynamics, efficient technology helps the 911 Turbo S do an average of 24.8mpg – which is identical to the less powerful Turbo version.
The 911 Turbo S comes with the PDK twin-clutch seven-speed gearbox – with steering wheel-mounted paddleshifts as standard. The car's dynamics have been improved by Porsche's sport chrono package, which adds launch control and dynamic engine mounts.
Other standard equipment on the range-topping Turbo S includes:
• dynamic cornering lights;
• 19-inch RS Spyder design alloys;
• adaptive sports seats;
• cruise control;
• two-tone leather upholstery.
How much and when?
The Porsche Turbo S goes on sale in May and prices start from £123,263 for the coupe, and from £130,791 in Cabriolet form.
