New Renault Megane exposed
* On sale in early 2009 * Conservative design emphasises quality gains * More exciting three-door coupe coming...
This is Renault's new Megane, which will go on sale early next year.
The conservative design is said to reflect Renault's emphasis on improving quality and comfort, refinement, as well as offering better value for money.
Pricing is expected to remain at current levels, starting from around 12,500.
However, no technical or engine details have been confirmed, as these pictures have been leaked on the internet ahead of the car's official unveiling at the Paris motor show on October 2.
Also on show will be a three-door coupe version of the Megane, which is expected to feature far more dramatic styling as only the bonnet, rear bumper and headlights will be carried over from the five-door model pictured here.
