Optional features will include hands-free entry and ignition, automatic locking as the driver walks away, Bluetooth connectivity and sat-nav.
With the emphasis on practicality, there is also the option of an assisted handbrake, which automatically comes on when the car is turned off and released by pressing the accelerator when the engine is running. The system can be operated manually via a switch.
Climate control will be fitted as standard, with the option of a dual-zone system on higher trim levels.
Renault also says the car is greener than ever, because 22kg of plastics used are sourced from recycled materials.
