Also included in the centrally mounted speedometer is the cruise control and speed-limiter display, fuel and water temperature gauges and the 'door open' and tyre pressure warnings.

The speed limiter works using a series of colours to warn the driver that they are approaching or exceeding the set limit, which Renault says is more intuitive.

The boot is 372 litres in size with the spare wheel fitted, and has additional storage spaces underneath.
