New Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic - Safety and how much?

16 March 2009
Safety and how much?
The crash structures echo those of the Megane, which achieved the joint-best score ever under the old Euro-NCAP testing system. Stability control and brake assist – which guarantees maximum braking in an emergency stop – will be standard alongside anti-whiplash front headrests, ISOFIX child-seat mounts for all three mid-row seats and belt-undone warning chimes, while automatic headlamps and wipers, a speed limiter and cornering lights will be available.

What Renault can't yet say is what all this is likely to cost and what will come as standard, but it has promised it will cost less than the current model.
