Saab's new 9-5 will cost from £26,495 and is available to order from today.
The newly independent manufacturer will offer the 9-5 in two trims: Vector SE and Aero.
Vector SE trim
Entry-level Vector SE trim is available from launch with a 2.0-litre TiD diesel, or 2.0 petrol engine. A 1.6 turbocharged petrol engine and 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel will go on sale later this year.
Vector SE trim includes:

• MP3-player compatibility
• Auto dimming interior mirror
• Heated front seats
• Part-leather upholstery
Aero trim
Higher-spec Aero cars start at £31,195 for the 2.0T petrol, and rise to £37,995 for the range-topping 296bhp 2.8T. There will also be a 2.0TTiD twin-turbo diesel from mid-2010.
