Fiat has launched a range of optional sports seats for its Abarth Grande Punto and Abarth 500 models.
The seats – called Abarth Corse by Sabelt – are a collaboration between Sabelt Style Centre and Abarth stylists. Fiat says they 'stem from the same philosophy that inspired racing seats for the Abarth 595 and 695 in the 1960s.'
As well as heavy bolstering that provides strong support through corners, the seats feature a one-piece backrest with a slit to accommodate a multi-point safety harness.
There are two versions available: one in black leather and Alcantara, and one in black 'F1' fabric. The leather option costs £2250, while the fabric seats costs £1760. They will be available for only the Abarth Grande Punto initially, but will become an option for the Abarth 500 later in the year.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
