Nissan has added a new Active Luxury trim level to its Micra supermini range.

Available with a 1.4- or 1.6-litre petrol, or a 85bhp 1.5-litre diesel, the new addition is priced from £12,095 - £500 more than a Sport-trimmed car.

Additional equipment includes new 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome trim around the headlights and unique silver or black metallic paint finishes.

Inside, the cabin is upholstered in grey Alcantara fabric and finished with extra chrome trim, while heated seats, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlights are also standard.
