Next Alfas called Milano and Giulia

  • 147 replacement will be called Milano
  • New 159 will be called Giulia
  • Names revealed in Chrysler's survival document
Alfa Romeo will call its next two cars the Milano and Giulia, according to documents released as part of Chrysler’s proposed alliance with Alfa's parent company, Fiat.

The Milano will replace the Alfa Romeo 147 and Alfa's 159 will become the Giulia. The new names were revealed in Chrysler’s viability plan, which the company yesterday submitted to the US Government.

It was also revealed in the document that all future Alfas will use names instead of numbers.

If the union between Chrysler and Fiat/Alfa Romeo goes ahead, Chrysler will use Alfa platforms for its own future models.
