Nissan 370Z Nismo revealed

This is the Nissan 370Z Nismo, which follows the Juke Nismo as the second car to be launched by the company's hot sub-brand.
The 370Z Nismo will come with a manual gearbox and gets mild engine upgrades over the standard 370Z. Power from the 3.7-litre V6 is up by 14bhp to 339bhp, while torque is up by 6lb ft to 274lb ft. These modifications cut the 0-62mph time by 0.1sec to 5.2sec.
Nissan has developed the car's chassis settings specifically for the European market, with suspension that's 10mm lower and 20% stiffer than the standard car's. A new front splitter, rear diffuser and sizeable wing help the Nissan 370Z Nismo to produce almost as much downforce as the company's GT-R supercar.
On top of this, the 370Z Nismo gets Bridgestone tyres that have been developed specifically for it, as well as sharper throttle response. There's also an Alcantara steering wheel, improved seat bolstering and various interior style tweaks. Exterior changes include wider wheelarches and unique alloys.
Nismo is Nissan's new sporting brand. In the future, most models will get a range-topping Nismo version – including the forthcoming Qashqai. Sources also suggest that diesel Nismo models are a possibility.
Sales of the Nissan 370Z Nismo will start in the June. Prices are yet to be confirmed but expect this range-topping 370Z to cost around £37,500. It is unlikely that a Nismo version of the 370Z Convertible will be made.
