Nissan Note updated for 2012

The Nissan Note has been given styling updates, more kit and a new trim.

Mid-range Acenta cars get new two-tone 16-inch alloys up from the previous car's 15-inch rims while body-coloured door mirror covers and foglight surrounds are also added.

Acenta trim also brings a new seat fabric with blue stitching, while automatic headlights and rain-sensitive wipers also come as standard.

Moving up the range, a new N-tec+ trim has been added. Along with the Acenta upgrades, N-tec+ adds rear parking sensors, and retains standard N-tec features such as darkened rear privacy glass and the Connect sat-nav system with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.

The Note's engine line-up remains unchanged, with a choice of 1.4 and 1.6 petrols and a 1.5 dCi diesel. The most efficient version is the 1.5 dCi Pure Drive, which emits 110g/km of CO2 and averages 67.3mpg.

Prices start at 11,200 for the entry-level Visia model. The updated Acenta is 13,000 a 200 increase over the previous car. Prices for the new N-tec+ version start at 13,500.
