Nissan could make its own version of the Renault Twizy electric vehicle.
The Twizy was revealed at last month's Paris motor show by alliance partner Renault, and will go on sale next year.
However Nissan's 'New Mobility Concept' is currently simply under proposal – so no decision has been made as to whether it will go into production.
'It's another electric concept we are looking at,' said a Nissan spokesman.
The New Mobility Concept is a small, two-seat electric vehicle that Nissan says will be easy to park and drive, and will have the manoeuvrability of a motorcycle, but with greater safety provision.
