Nissan has launched a limited-edition version of its recently face-lifted Micra.

The new Sport+ is based on the Micra Sport but includes air-conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels and aluminium-look pedals. However, at £8795, the entry-level three-door 1.2-litre Sport+ costs nearly £985 less than the equivalent Sport model.

Three-door versions of the 1.4-litre petrol and the 82bhp 1.5-litre diesel cost £9095 and £9895 respectively. Equivalent five-door versions cost an extra £650 for all Sport+ models.

Similar to the Sport, the Sport+’s styling mirrors that of the sporty Micra 160SR – it shares the same bigger bumpers, tinted headlamps and front spotlights, and tailgate spoiler. It also has improved sound-proofing.

A leather-trimmed steering wheel, electric windows and electric door mirrors are also included in Sport and Sport+ models.

The Sport+ is available until the end of September. Nissan is currently offering 0% finance over two years and no deposit through its Preferences personal-leasing plan.
