Citroen DS3 1.6 THP 150 DSport

Driven this week: 170 milesNew cars editor Steve Huntingford used my Citroen as transport to the launch of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (which you can read all about
here).
You might think that after several hours in a stripped-out supercar, he'd welcome the relative low-strung and relaxed nature of the DS3.
He didn't. In fact, when he returned to the office he moaned about the Citroen's unsettled and crashy ride, and said he actually found it less comfortable than the Porsche he'd spent the morning thrashing around Berkshire.
However, he did praise the DS3's classy interior, commenting that he much preferred its conventional design to the fussy retro layout in its rival, the Mini.

Mileage: 10,880
Driven this week: 130 milesI’m really pleased I chose the optional MyWay Signature pack when speccing my DS3. It adds an excellent sat-nav system, Bluetooth hands-free and climate control all for £800, which I think is great value given the price of similar options in rivals.
Sat-nav in an
Audi A1, for example, will set you back £875. If you want it a
Mini Cooper you’ll have to add the Media Pack, which puts another £1480 on the price.
Annoyingly, though, choosing the MyWay pack means you lose the DS3's otherwise standard USB socket. That means I can't use the stereo to control and charge my iPod.
There is a 3.5mm auxiliary input, which allows me to play MP3s through the Citroen's speakers, but I have to pull over and use the iPod itself to skip tracks or leave it on shuffle.
