Mini Countryman review

I experienced a very odd thing in the Countryman this week. On one journey into work, the fuel light came on… three times!

To me, it seems that the light comes on depending on how far the car thinks it can go on the amount of fuel it has left, rather than when it gets to a certain level in the tank.

I found this a bit annoying, because the range varied between 85 and 95 miles for the 20-mile stretch of motorway I was on at the time. The fuel gauge couldn’t decide whether to show two or three bars, either.
