The 3008 and I recently travelled to the Silverstone race track in Northamptonshire to photograph the Peugeot RCZ for this month’s Temptation. Also on hand was the Peugeot Le Mans racing team and its 908 diesel race car.

Apart from being diesel-powered, the 3008 and 908 have another thing in common: a semi-automatic gearbox. Racing drivers Nicolas Minassian (in the car with me) and Anthony Davidson were impressed that the 3008 had gearshift paddles, but would have preferred them to turn with the wheel.
