Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Mileage 7000 I couldn’t have thought of a better car for a 340-mile round-trip-in-a-day to pick up my 96-year-old grandmother. That is until I was five miles from home and the ‘engine oil level critically low’ warning light came on.
With the electronic dipstick not working either, it left me worried – to fill or not to fill? A trip to my nearest Land Rover dealer eventually diagnosed a faulty sensor, which was replaced under warranty. Phew.
It was a relief, but this latest episode follows other electrical faults that started soon after I picked up my Range Rover. I hope this is the last of them!
