I recently hit a discarded builder’s pallet while parking, and the collision tore off part of the Yeti’s bumper. I was originally told by my local dealer, Marlborough Skoda, Middlesex, that the work would take about half an hour, so I was a bit peeved to be told that it had taken longer simply because the service centre ‘hadn’t done this repair on a Yeti before’. I was too pushed for time to complain that this wasn’t my problem, and as the labour was still just £60 and a new bumper skirt just £51, the whole price seemed very reasonable to have my Yeti good as new.
