Volkswagen Up review

Our Up has just arrived and is a good looking thing, fitted with a piano-black dash and a light cream and red upholstery.

There's also that Maps and More navigation system built by Navigon, which controls everything from the radio, to the trip computer and Bluetooth phone connection.

Together, it all looks fantastic, but my only initial concern is how well that light-coloured fabric will hold up this winter.

Once I've driven it a little more, I'll be able to comment on its road manners and fuel economy.
