If you’re feeling flush, then you can have a look at the various R8s on display here at the Paris show.

These include the 552bhp GT, which will blast from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds, and accelerate to nearly 200mph.

Or what about the new R8 V8 Spyder? It uses a 4.2-litre engine with 424bhp, which is enough to power it from 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 186mph.

The GT costs from £142,585, while the Spyder is more palatable at £95,545.
