The car has new headlights front and rear, a new grille and new front and rear bumpers.
Under the bonnet, the Octavia gets a new 1.4 TSI petrol engine, which along with the 1.8 T can be specified with a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
The car also gets adaptive headlights, that move as the car turns, and new headrests that give better protection in rear crashes.
Prices won't be announced until next month, ahead of the car going on sale in January.
