At a whopping £7799 on the road, it's the most expensive car the Malaysian manufacturer makes, ahead of the £6000 Kenari and Kelisa, although Perodua is offering £1000 cashback during the car's launch period.
For your money, you get a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder engine producing 86bhp, front airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution, power steering, remote central locking, a CD player and air-conditioning.
That's pretty good value considering a Sirion with the same engine starts at £8090. There's also an automatic version of the Myvi available for £8499 (or £7499 to start with).
With a 0-60mph time of 11.3 seconds for the manual car, the Myvi SXi isn't likely to set your pulse racing, but with fuel economy of 58.8mpg it could be one of the cheapest cars to run.
