Peugeot will launch the estate version of its 207 supermini, the 207 SW, next month.
The 207 SW shares the same wheelbase as the 207 five-door hatchback but is slightly longer and higher, allowing for more headroom, interior space and luggage capacity.
The new car's boot is 325 litres, which extends to 1410 litres with the rear seats folded. The SW has a rear-seat folding mechanism that allows for flat loading.
It will be launched with four engine options. There are 90bhp and 110bhp 1.6-litre diesel engines, and petrol options include a new 95bhp 1.4-litre VTi unit and the 120bhp 1.6-litre VTi currently used in Peugeot's 207 CC and 207 hatchback models.
All cars will come with a five-speed manual gearbox and the full-length glass roof as standard. Buyers can choose one of two trims - S and Sport. Details of each are yet to be decided.
Prices will be released when the 207 SW is launched in July.
