Peugeot's 308 small family car is now available in three-door form and with an automatic gearbox.

The three-door 308 will go on sale from December, and is available in Urban, S, Sport and GT trims. Prices will start from £11,995.

Two five-door models with automatic gearboxes will also be launched in December.

The petrol 1.6 VTi 120 five-door S model will come with an optional four-speed automatic gearbox with Tiptronic sequential manual control.

The turbocharged petrol 1.6 THP 140 five-door SE model will also offer the option of the same automatic gearbox.
