Peugeot hit for six

- Six-speed gearboxes added to 308 range
- Emissions and fuel consumption fall
- Two new engines added to 308 Sport range
Peugeot has added six-speed manual, semi-automatic and automatic gearboxes to its 308 hatchback range.
The manual and semi-automatic transmissions are available on S, Sport and SE HDi 110 models, replacing a five-speed manual gearbox.
The automatic unit is available on 2.0 litre HDi 136 five-door SE models.
The additional gear will mean that both fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions for the 308 hatch will fall under certain circumstances.
Two engines have also been added to the Peugeot 308 Sport range: a 93bhp 1.4-litre petrol and an 88bhp 1.6-litre diesel.
