Peugeot dealers will start to receive the first 4007 off-roaders from next month, with prices starting from £22,790.
The 4007 is the Peugeot's first 4x4. It has been built in a joint deal with Mitsubishi, and is based on the Outlander.
The car is powered by a 156bhp 2.2-litre HDi engine, which is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Standard equipment includes six airbags, an electronic four-wheel-drive system, ESP and ABS, roof bars and air-conditioning.
It is being launched with two trims. Base SE trim has 16-inch alloys and is priced at £22,790.
GT cars cost £25,490 and include full black leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, a six-disc CD autochanger, rear parking sensors, xenon headlights and tinted rear windows.
