Peugeot has tweaked its 407 range, adding more equipment and increasing prices to its saloons and estate models.
Buyers can now choose from four trim levels – S, SE, Sport and Executive – and seven engines. The 2.7-litre V6 diesel from the 407 Coupe is now available in the saloon and estate, but only in Executive trim.
S models start at £15,500 for the saloon and £16,700 for the SW and come with climate control, alarm and trip computer.
SE models now come with a Bluetooth hands-free kit. Prices have increased from between £195 and £285 and start at £17,150 for the saloon and £18,350 for the estate.
Sport trim is new to the line-up and half-leather seats, electric seat adjustment, rear parking sensors and a CD changer are included as standard. Sport models are available with either the 2.2-litre petrol engine or the 136bhp 2.0-litre diesel unit, and prices start at £19,100.
Executive models have satellite-navigation, Xenon headlights, full leather upholstery and heated seats and prices start at £24,200. Buyers who chose the 2.7-litre diesel will pay £25,700 for the saloon and £26,900 for the SW.
