These computer-generated images give a hint of what Peugeot's replacement for the 407 family car could look like.
Our images are based on the '5 by Peugeot' concept car that was revealed at the Geneva motor show last month.
The grille, headlamps and prominent badge are all elements that we think will remain on the finished car that's likely to appear at the Paris motor show this autumn.
Hybrid version planned
The '5 by Peugeot' concept car used the hybrid powertrain first employed in the 3008 Hybrid4. With a 163bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 37bhp electric motor, the system gives the concept car average fuel consumption of 74.3mpg and emissions of just 99g/km.

Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
