Peugeot - Seat

The 107 is the only Peugeot that comes with in auxillary input as standard. That means you use the earphone socket to plug you iPod or MP3 player into the car's stereo using a 3.5mm jack lead.

Also, any Peugeot equipped with sat-nav (as standard or an option) comes with an auxillary input socket in the glovebox.

Your Peugeot dealership will also fit a Dension integration kit for 150 on any model apart from the 4007.

Renault
For 175 you can get an auxillary input on any Renault. This option also includes a USB port.

Go for this and you can plug in your iPod or MP3 using a 3.5mm jack lead. You can also use the USB port to play songs stored on any USB memory stick.

Seat
An auxillary input socket is standard on all Ibiza, Leon, Altea and Altea XL models.

An iPod cradle located either under the driver's seat or in the centre armrest is available as a 90 option on Leon, Altea (including XL and Freetrack) and Toledo. This adds the ability to charge your iPod on the move and change tracks using the car's stereo.

If you don't have an MP3 player, a USB connection is available on these cars for an extra 90. This system allows you to play MP3s using a standard USB memory stick.

iPod docking cables are universally available as a dealer-fit accessory on other models, too, priced at 99.99. The cable is located in the glovebox, and gives you similar capabilites to factory-fit iPod cradle.
