More equipment and a new engine for the Peugeot 3008
Peugeot has upgraded its award-winning 3008 crossover, adding extra standard equipment and introducing a new Euro V-compliant diesel engine.

Sport versions of the What Car? Car of the Year gain Peugeot Connect USB (allowing an MP3-player to be connected to the car), as well as Bluetooth, a flat-folding front passenger seat, and automatic headlamps and wipers.

Exclusive models also get these items, but also add electric folding mirrors, an electro-chrome interior mirror and exterior courtesy lights.

Prices
Prices for Sport models now start a £17,895, while the cheapest Exclusive model is £19,295 – both have the 1.6 VTi 120 engine and represent a £200 rise compared with the previous models.

New engine
At the same time, Peugeot has also introduced a new HDi 112 engine that meets Euro V emissions regulations. Available with Active, Sport and Exclusive trims, it replaces the old Euro IV-compliant engine, bringing improved economy and a reduction in CO2 emissions.
Paired with a manual gearbox, it emits 135g/km, while it puts out 129g/km when mated to Peugeot’s semi-automatic EGC gearbox – down from 140- and 135g/km, respectively, with old engine.

The revised models are on sale now.
