Every diesel model averages more than 70mpg in official tests, while even the least efficient engine – the 1.6-litre petrol – manages almost 50mpg.
Standard equipment is fairly generous – all models get air-conditioning, six airbags, electric front windows, cruise control and central locking. The range-topping cars feature a panoramic glass roof, sat-nav and ambient lighting.
