The new Porsche 911 GT2 will cost from £131, 070 when it goes on sale in the UK in November.

The latest incarnation of the rear-wheel-drive classic goes from 0 to 62mph in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 204mph.

The 3.6-litre engine has 530bhp, an increase of 50bhp over the standard 911, but new turbo technology means that fuel consumption is cut by up to 15%.

Composite carbonfibre and ceramic brakes, active suspension management, a Thatcham Category 5 vehicle tracking system and 19-inch wheels are fitted as standard.

Owners will also receive a Porsche Driving Course day.
