The Cabriolet versions of the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S have been revealed in advance of their public debuts at the Los Angeles show this November.

The convertible version of the fastest 911 comes with the same turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine as the coupe. The 513bhp engine takes the Turbo from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, while the 552bhp Turbo S takes just 3.2 seconds to do the same sprint. Both cars will do 197mph, can hit 28.5mpg and emit 231g/km of CO2.

As with the coupe version, the convertible 911 Turbo is offered with a PDK automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive and rear-axle steering as standard.

The roof takes around 13 seconds to go up or down, and can be opened and closed at up to 34mph.

The two cars will cost around £8500 more than their coupe equivalents, with the Turbo starting at £126,766 and the Turbo S starting at £149,511. Both will be on sale in the UK from December.

Porsche will officially reveal the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet to the public at the Los Angeles show at the end of November
