Porsche has revealed a limited-edition of its Boxster S drop-top.
Just 987 Boxster S Black Editions will be made and each will come with a 316bhp 3.4-litre – up 10bhp on the engine that's in the standard Boxster S.
That extra power shaves a tenth of a second from the car's 0-62mph time – in the Black Edition it's now 5.2 seconds. Fuel economy is unaffected.
Apart from the black paint finish, the Black Edition marks itself out from the standard Boxster S with its lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels, black exhaust tailpipes, black roll bars and various 'Black Edition' details inside the cabin.
It comes with anti-dazzle mirrors, cruise control, climate control, part-leather seats, sat-nav and Bluetooth.
The car will cost from £47,426, which is £3600 more than the standard Boxster S. A complimentary Driving Experience Programme at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone is included in the price.
The Porsche Boxster S Black Edition car goes on sale next month.
